According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention introduces AGROLINK, a web-based agricultural marketplace platform designed to enable transparent, direct, and verified trade between farmers and dealers. The system integrates a multi-layer digital architecture consisting of a secure user verification module, a structured product cataloging engine, a real-time negotiation interface, and an end-to-end transaction management system with UPJ-based digital payments. User authentication employs document-based KYC verification with automated OCR extraction and trust scoring, ensuring the legitimacy of both farmers and dealers. Product listings are standardized using a metadata-driven cataloging framework supporting crop type, quantity, grade, pricing, and geolocation tagging. A WebSocket/Socket.io communication layer enables low-latency, real-time price negotiation between authenticated users, while the order management engine tracks the complete lifecycle from listing creation to payment and delivery. The mobile-first interface supports multilingual access, voice-assisted navigation, and low-bandwidth optimization to ensure usability in rural environments. The system is implemented using Node.js, Express.js, MySQL/MongoDB, and AES-256 encrypted communication channels, with cloud-compatible deployment for national-scale adoption. All data is stored in secure backend databases, and user transactions are processed through protected payment APIs. AGROLINK provides a scalable, trust-centric, and easily deployable solution that eliminates intermediaries, improves price transparency, and enhances efficiency across India's agricultural supply chain."
