MUMBAI, India, Feb. 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641006711 A) filed by Redbee Machines, Mysore, Karnataka, on Jan. 23, for 'agricultural produce cleaning and bagging machine having non-metallic screw conveyor and engineered airflow separation.'

Inventor(s) include Mr. Gautam Pereira.

The application for the patent was published on Feb. 6, under issue no. 06/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Agricultural produce cleaning and bagging machine having non-metallic screw conveyor and engineered airflow separation [0042] The present invention relates to an agricultural produce cleaning and bagging machine (100) performs post-harvest cleaning and separation of impurities from bulk agricultural produce (100a). The machine (100) comprises a produce receiving unit (102) for receiving bulk agricultural produce, a mechanical conveyance unit (104) for transporting produce using a non-metallic screw, and an impurity separation unit (106) positioned downstream of mechanical conveyance unit (104) for separating impurities through engineered airflow interaction. A cleaned produce discharge unit (108) discharges cleaned agricultural produce (100b), while a waste discharge unit (110) discharges separated waste (100c). A power and control unit (112) supplies and regulates electrical power for coordinated operation. The non-metallic screw reduces mechanical stress on produce, and airflow interaction separates lighter impurities from heavier produce, enabling efficient cleaning under farmgate operating conditions."
