MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004055 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'agricultural land preparing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An agricultural land preparing device includes a rectangular platform 1 that attaches to a motor vehicle and positioned on the farming area, an imaging unit 3 installed on platform 1 to generate a 3D map of the land that is displayed on a display panel 4 mounted on platform 1, allowing user to select area for farming, a projection unit 5 projects an image on the land, aiding user while driving on chosen area, a tactile sensor mounted on platform 1 detects soil hardness with curve-shaped telescopic tines 6 positioned under platform 1 help pulverize the soil, a motorized roller 7 with L-shaped blades 8 breaks the soil further, also a meshed sheet 9 attached with the platform 1 separates debris during movement of platform 1 over the land and a motorized hinge joint configured in between the rods and sheets 9 positions the sheet 9 to aid debris separation."
