MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411008770 A) filed by Hnnoix India Private Limited, Gurugram, Haryana, on Feb. 9, 2024, for 'advanced railways collision detection, monitoring & maintenance system.'
Inventor(s) include Hargovind Prasad Bansal.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a system and method for AI-powered railway collision avoidance, track monitoring, and predictive maintenance, integrating advanced sensing technologies, blockchain-secured communication, and real-time decision-making algorithms to enhance railway safety and operational efficiency. The system assigns a Unique Identification Number (UIN) to each railway track, ensuring precise real-time tracking, validation, and routing decisions managed by the central railway monitoring server. The system comprises a train-mounted control unit, an AI-powered processing unit, a blockchain-secured communication network, and a central railway monitoring server, all working in synchronization to monitor train movements, analyze track conditions, and prevent accidents in real-time using UIN-based track assignment and validation. Additionally, the system employs blockchain technology for tamper-proof authentication of track-switching commands based on UIN validation and quantum-encrypted data transfer protocols to ensure secure, real-time railway communication, preventing cyber threats, unauthorized access, and data manipulation."
