MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020756 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'adjustable wristband rearview display device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable wristband rearview display device, comprises of a circular frame 1 worn by a user on the user's wrist, a motorized roller 2 coiled with a looped strap arranged in the frame 1 for fastening/unfastening the user's wrist, an acoustic sensor embedded on the frame 1 to monitor sound signals nearby the user, a vibration unit integrated in the strap to produce vibrational sensations for alarming the user, a photodetector sensor embedded on a convex mirror 6 arranged on the plate 4 to measure intensity of light, a translucent flap arranged in the mirror 6 to cover the mirror 6, a sensing module embedded on the plate 4 includes an ultrasonic sensor, a LiDAR sensor and a speed sensor to detect presence of auxiliary vehicles nearby said user's two-wheeler and a speaker 7 arranged in the frame 1 for notifying the user to change direction of the two-wheeler."
