MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019646 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 16, 2024, for 'adjustable workpiece bending device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Jaswant Saini.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable workpiece bending device, comprising a telescopic frame 1 having a first portion 2 attached with a handle 4, an ultrasonic sensor detects height of user and accordingly height of frame 1 is altered for placing a pair of semi-circular shaped tines 11 attached with a second portion 3 over a workpiece, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 5 evaluates a 3D mapping of workpiece that s displayed on a touch interactive display panel 6 to allow user to input details regarding an angle at which user desires to bend workpiece, a holographic projection assists user to engage a rectangular shaped member 12 onto workpiece, an inverted L-shaped telescopic rod 8 positions a suction cup 9 on a surface to get affixed, and followed by retraction of rod 8 to pull frame 1 that aids in bending of workpiece by means of tines 11."
