MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005875 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'adjustable wiring operation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Kushdeep Singh; and Sarabjit Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adjustable wiring operation assistive device that includes a cylindrical frame 1 developed to be handheld by a user, a touch interactive display panel 2 is configured on the frame 1 for selecting length of different wires required by the user, multiple of sections 3 arranged within the frame 1 is designed to accommodate a specific type of wire, a motorized roller 4 is coupled in section 3 for uncoiling the wire, an imaging unit 5 is embedded into the frame 1 to take multiple pictures to determine the uncoiled wire, a motorized clipper 6 is assembled into section 3 to hold the uncoiled wire, a plate 7 integrated on outer periphery to move in close proximity, a motorized iris lid 8 is assembled with cavities 8 for engaging wire, and an ultrasonic sensor 10 mounted on frame 1 for monitoring the uncoiled wire's length."
