MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019767 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'adjustable wheel movement restricting device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable wheel movement restricting device, comprising a pair of wedge-like frames 1 developed to be positioned in front and back of a vehicle's wheel, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 integrated with a processor for capturing multiple surrounding images to determine dimensions of the wheel, multiple telescopically operated links 3 integrated within the frames 1 for acquiring an appropriate size with respect to the determined dimension to restrict the wheel, a pair of motorized rollers 5 arranged on lateral sides of the frames 1 and wrapped with a string to tightly fasten the wheel with the frames 1 and a microphone 6 integrated on the frame 1 for receiving nearby sounds."
