MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018894 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adjustable weight-lifting equipment storage device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable weight-lifting equipment storage device comprising a pair of frames 1 developed to be vertically positioned on a ground surface where a user is required to engage a weight-lifting equipment on a cavity 2 in order to accommodate equipment on frame 1, an imaging unit 3 for determining length of equipment present in proximity to frames 1, an electromagnetically powered spring 4 to extend/contract for positioning frames 1 at ends of equipment in order to allow user to accommodate equipment on frames 1, a pair of extendable curved member 5 for covering equipment in order to prevent accumulation of dust on equipment, a drawer arrangement 9 for positioning equipment at a height from surface, a weight sensor for monitoring weight of equipment and multiple hydraulic units 10 to aid in extension of frame 1 in order to position equipment at user-specified height."
