MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013260 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 23, 2024, for 'adjustable walking movement controlling device for cattle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable walking movement controlling device for cattle, comprising a wearable body 1 developed to be equipped on a mouth portion of a cattle and secured by on mouth portion by means of a pair of straps 2, a laser sensor detecting dimension of the cattle's mouth portion for actuating multiple motorized rollers 3 for rotating on its axis to wind strips in order to properly to secure the body 1 on mouth portion, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determines presence of any insect on the cattle's body 1 and synchronously actuates a telescopically operated flap 5 to extend, followed by actuation of a motorized hinge for providing movement to flap 5 in order to remove insect."
