MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025481 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'adjustable void-filling assistive device for walls.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Tejinder Pal Singh Brar; Dr. Inderpreet Kaur; Aditya Chauhan; and Kanika Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable void-filling assistive device for walls, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface via plurality of wheels 2, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines position of gaps in tiles of wall, plurality of telescopically operated rods 4 align platform with evaluated portions on wall, a multi-sectioned chamber 5 stores raw materials, an iris lid 6 dispenses materials in a mixing container 7, a motorized stirrer 8 obtains required mixture, an electronically controlled nozzle 9 via a telescopically operated link 10 for positioning nozzle 9 to dispense mixture for filling gaps of wall, and a circular slider 11 provides translation to a motorized flap 12 for finishing filled mixture for allowing settling of mixture in between gaps, thereby assisting user in mending walls."
