MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025516 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'adjustable usb cables handling device for four-wheelers.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable USB cables handling device for four-wheelers, comprising a plate 1 installed on a fixed surface, underneath handbrake portion of a four-wheeler via plurality of suction cups 7, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 determines positioning of a cable suspended inside four-wheeler, two motorized grippers 3 are installed on plate 1 to grip on end of cable, a cylindrical member 4 engraved with multiple circular grooves that are accessed by grippers 3 for engaging cables along grooves for attaining a coiled state of cables, plurality of motorized clippers 5 grip on coiled cables to store cables inside four-wheeler, an ultrasonic sensor determines any turns on cables and if detected then grippers 3 insert cables in a pair of motorized rollers 6, and followed by actuation of rollers 6 to rotate for straightening cables before being coiled in member 4."
