MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006994 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'adjustable typing training device.'
Inventor(s) include Satish Kumar; Gunjan Sharma; Vaneet Singh; Dr. Jasminal Kaur; Vaishnavi; Akshat Kapoor; and Manpreet Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable typing training device, comprising a platform 1 configured with a pair of inverted U-shaped telescopic rods 2 for supporting the platform 1 on fixed surface, a laser sensor 3 installed on the platform 1 detecting keyboard dimensions, an optical angle sensor 4 installed on the platform 1 detecting user's face angle, a motion sensor 5 installed on the platform 1 detecting user's typing speed, an imaging unit 6 installed on the platform 1 determining watching of keyboard by the user, a vibration unit 7 installed on the platform 1 alerting user not to watch the keyboard, multiple pressure sensors 8 arranged on the platform 1 detecting pressure applied by user on keyboard, a speaker 9 assembled on the platform 1 notifying the user and a moisture sensor 10 installed on the platform 1 detecting moisture on keyboard."
