MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025582 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adjustable stuck screw extracting device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable stuck screw extracting device, comprising a body 1 arranged with an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 to generate a 3-dimensional mapping of surrounding of body 1 which is displayed on a touch interactive display panel 3, an ultrasonic sensor detects distance between body 1 and user-selected screw, a platform 4 is positioned near screw by a motorized scissor lift arrangement 5, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 6 extends for positioning a U-shaped member 7 near screw, a ring 8 is positioned over screw, a pair of pneumatically operated plungers acquire grip on head portion of user-selected screw head, an electronically controlled nozzle 11 dispenses an anti-rust solution for solubilizing rust deposited on threads, a telescopically operated L-shaped bar 12 positions a hammering unit 13 for loosening stuck screw, a motorized drilling unit 14 drills screw for unfastening screw from surface."
