MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019761 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'adjustable stuck ring removal device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adjustable stuck ring removal device, comprising a body 1 positioned on a ground surface, an imaging unit 2 installed within the body 1 determining stuck ring on user's finger, a robotic arm 3 arranged within the body 1 integrated with a first circular member 4 for positioning user's finger via an iris lid 5 installed within the member 4, a chamber 6 arranged at ceiling of the body 1 for dispensing oil, a telescopically operated bar 7 integrated with a second circular member 8 having multiple suction units 9 for removing the ring, a pair of motorized grippers 11 assembled within the body 1 for gripping ring, a grinding blade 12 installed within the body 1 via an extendable pole 13 for cutting and dispensing the ring inside a container 14 arranged inside the body 1."
