MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010776 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'adjustable storage enhancement device for refrigerator.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sachin Mohal; Gurkirat Singh Bhatia; Sandeep Mishra; Yuvraj Singh; Ritik Singh; Saumil Aggarwal; and Mohammad Shahanawaz.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable storage enhancement device for refrigerator, comprising a platform 1 accessed by a user to position beneath a refrigerator shelf, plurality of suction units 2 arranged over the platform 1 for affixing the platform 1 with the shelf, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 installed over the platform 1 to determines type of shelf, a U-shaped extendable plate 4 configured with the platform 1 to accommodate a commodity over the plate 4, a pair of extendable plates 5 configured with the member for creating boundary around the member to enclose the commodity, plurality of electromagnetic latches 6 arranged on the platform 1 for attaching the platform 1 with the wire shelf and plurality of suction cups 7 arranged on the member for adhering the commodity with the member."
