According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable shock absorbing device for object collision comprises of a U-shaped extendable frame 1 developed to be installed at edge portion of fixed surface, multiple suction cups 2 secure frame with surface, artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 captures images of surface, multiple motorized hinge joints 4 adjust shape of frame, followed by the actuation of the frame for extending or retracting to properly cover surface, proximity sensor mapped on frame for detecting distance between any object moving towards frame, inflating unit 5 integrated with frame for inflating an inflatable component to reduce impact on frame while collision, pair of plates 6 attached with side of frame for receiving impact of object while collision, impact sensor installed on plates 6 for detecting impact intensity of object, pair of electromagnetic springs 7 are arranged between plates 6 and frame for absorbing impact of object while collision with frame."
