MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025636 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adjustable seating device for horse ride.'
Inventor(s) include V. K. Tyagi; Sahdev Singh; Jitendra Kumar Singh Jadon; and Anuj Goyal.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable seating device for horse ride, comprising curved platform 1 to be positioned on back of a horse, AI based imaging unit 2 to determine dimensions of the horse, motorized roller 3 to tighten/loosen a looped strap to affix the platform 1 over the back of the horse, cross-linked extendable rods 4 to extend/retract to position a curved member 5 near the user's feet, motorized sliding units 7to translate pair of sliding plates 6 to shit position of the platform 1 on the back of the horse at a required position and electromagnetically powered springs 8 for absorbing shocks generated due to movement of the horse on the surface."
