MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026146 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'adjustable sausage preparation device.'

Inventor(s) include Mandeep Singh; Gagandeep Singh; Himanshu Gogia; Harjas; and Manvi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable sausage preparation device comprises a platform 1 arranged with a touch interactive display panel 2, a chamber 3 arranged on the platform 1 and mounted with a hopper 4 accessed by a user for feeding batter inside the chamber 3, a motorized stirrer integrated at base of the chamber 3 for shredding and mashing the fed batter to even out consistency of the batter, a motorized gripper arranged on the platform 1 for grip on a stick, a cuboidal structure 6 arranged on the platform 1 by means of a rod and carved with a cavity that is accessed by the gripper for inserting an appropriate length of the gripped stick inside the cavity, an electronically controlled valve 7 dispenses an appropriate amount of the batter onto the inserted stick, an extendable link 9 for pushing a pair of curved flaps 8 over the dumped batter."
