MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026148 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'adjustable rubber gasket jacketing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Gurpreet; Sonia; and Harshpreet Singh Saluja.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable rubber gasket jacketing device comprises of a frame having a pair of first and second plate 2 are positioned on a fixed surface, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the frame for capturing and processing images, a proximity sensor 9 integrated on the first plate 1 for monitoring distance of rubber gasket, a motorized clamping unit 4 integrated on the first plate 1 to acquire grip on the gasket, a drawer arrangement 5 integrated in the first and second plate 2 to extend as per the monitored radius of the surface, multiple suction units 6 integrated underneath first plate 1 to adhered on the surface, a motorized gripper 7 installed on the second plate 2 to acquire grip on one end of the gripped gasket, a motorized ball and socket joint 8 integrated in between the plates for providing rotational movement to the second plate 2."
