MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023052 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 23, 2024, for 'adjustable roof cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Aishwary Awasthi.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable roof cleaning device comprising a body 1 developed to be positioned on a roof, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 is installed with the body 1 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of body to detect presence and location of debris on roof, plurality of motorized castor wheels 3 arranged underneath body 1 for moving body at detected location, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 4 arranged on body 1 extend/retract for positioning a motorized roller 5 integrated with plurality of bristles 6 assembled on rod 4 to rotate for allowing bristles to apply a pulling force on debris towards an opening crafted on body for storing debris in a storage chamber 7 arranged in body 1, an ultrasonic sensor integrated on body 1 to detect the dimension of debris and a robotic arm 8 installed on body 1 for gripping and positioning debris from roof onto chamber 7."
