MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019758 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 17, 2024, for 'adjustable roll-up sleeve securing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Usama Uddin; and Aishwary Awasthi.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adjustable roll-up sleeve securing device, comprising a platform 1 configured with suction cups 2 for affixing with a cuff's surface, a laser sensor 3 installed on platform 1 for detecting curve of user's arm, multiple primary hinge joints 4 integrated within platform 1 for providing movement to the platform 1, multiple U-shaped links 5 arranged on platform 1 for engaging with the sleeve, a touch sensor 6 installed on links 5 for detecting placement of links 5 with the sleeve, multiple secondary hinge joints 7 integrated within the links 5 for securing the sleeve, a microphone 8 installed on platform 1 for enabling user's voice commands, an inverted telescopic bar 9 attached with suction cup 10 for pulling-up the sleeve, a moisture sensor 11 installed on platform 1 for detecting moisture and a LED strip 12 arranged on platform 1 for notifying the user."
