MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010043 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'adjustable resting assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Krishan Raj Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable resting assistive device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface by means of the suction cup 3, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 in communication with an ultrasonic sensor installed on platform 1 for detecting presence, height and physical dimension of a user sitting in proximity to platform 1 for extending a rods 2 upto user's height, a robotic arm 5 configured with a triangular shaped frame 6 allows user to place a face while sitting in proximity to platform 1, an EMG (Electromyography) sensor detecting tension generated in user's muscle while resting on frame 6 for actuating motorized hinge joints 7 for adjust positioning of frame 6 for providing comfort to user's facial muscle, and a FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) sensor 8 detecting vital health parameters of user for actuating speaker 9 for generating voice commands to notify user to consult a medical practitioner."
