MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025634 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adjustable pool diving assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include V. K. Tyagi; Sahdev Singh; Jitendra Kumar Singh Jadon; and Anuj Goyal.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 21, under issue no. 47/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable pool diving assistive device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on ground surface and configured with a frame, multiple suction cups 2 configured underneath platform 1 secures the platform 1, a touch interactive display panel 3 enabling user to provide input regarding height, a pair of hydraulically operated rods 4 arranged on the frame positions a horizontal bar 5 arranged in between the rods 4 at user-specified height, a pair of hydraulically operated link 6 pivoted with the bar 5 positions a plate 7 attached with the link 6 towards a pool, a rectangular member 8 configured on back portion of the frame accommodates the user, a motorized scissor 9 positions the member 8 at user-specified height, a pair of electromagnetic springs providing flexibility to the plate 7, a LDR sensor monitors intensity of light, multiple LED light 10 provides illumination."
