MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012926 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'adjustable plant shaping device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Chandrasekar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable plant shaping device, comprising a cuboidal shaped body 1 attached with a curve shaped telescopic rod 2 wherein a suction cup 3 attached with each of the rod 2 for supporting the body 1 over a pot, an imaging unit 4 mounted on the body 1 for determining the plant size, multiple curved-shaped telescopic tines 5 attached with the body 1 for positioning suction unit attached with the tines 5 to affix brim portion of the pot, a microphone 6 is mapped on the body 1 for enabling users voice commands, multiple pneumatic pistons 7 assembled on the tines 5 attached a motorized cutter 8 for cutting the plant and a reservoir 9 assembled on the body 1 for dispensing a pesticide solution on the plant."
