MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007844 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 5, 2024, for 'adjustable plant nut collection device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable plant nut collection device, comprising an elongated body 1 having a proximal and distal portion 2 3, a handle 14 is accessed by a user for gripping body 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 multiple images of a ground surface for determining dimensions of a variety of plant nuts spread on surface, a curved plate 5 integrated with motorized sliding units 6 in a grid like pattern is actuated by microcontroller for translating multiple flexible bristles 7 for maintaining an appropriate gapping, an electromagnetically powered spring 8 energizes spring 8 to expand for pushing plate 5 towards surface to engage nuts in gapping, followed by actuation of a pop-out ball 9 for restricting nuts, a telescopically operated L-shaped bar 11 is actuated microcontroller for positioning chamber 10, followed by tilting of plate 5 towards chamber 10 and synchronously de-actuates ball 9 for dispensing nuts into chamber 10."
