MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004059 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'adjustable photo frame holding device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable photo frame holding device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface and configured with multiple rods 2 that provides support to platform 1 by means of suction cup 3, a slot 4 crafted on platform 1, accessed by a user to place a photo frame in a vertical orientation, a weight sensor detecting placement of frame for actuating a pair of motorized sliding unit 5 for providing movement to a pair of plates that aids in securing of frame on platform 1, a laser sensor detecting size of frame for actuating multiple motorized omnidirectional balls 6 for providing movement to frame, a dust sensor detecting presence of dust particles for actuating a vacuum based cleaning unit 7 for cleaning dust particles that are further stored inside a receptacle."
