MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018813 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adjustable pcb (printed circuit board) holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Pankaj Kumar Goswami.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable PCB (Printed circuit board) holding device, comprising a circular disc 1 provides support to said disc 1 on a fixed surface, an ultrasonic sensor detecting height of a user present in proximity to said disc 1 for actuating a telescopic column 4 to extend/retract for positioning a plate 5 at optimum height, a weight sensor detecting placement of said board on said plate 5 for actuating a motorized lead screw 6 for providing movement to pair of jaws 7 that aids in holding of said PCB on said plate 5, and an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 determines presence of any damaged portion for actuating speaker 9 for notifying user regarding the damaged portion of PCB."
