MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411023104 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 24, 2024, for 'adjustable parking vehicle guarding device.'

Inventor(s) include Dinesh Kumar Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 24, under issue no. 43/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable parking vehicle guarding device, comprising a body 1 having a circular platform 2 positioned on a ground surface configured with plurality of motorized wheels 3 for maneuvering platform 2 from one place to another, a hump-shaped structure 4 for utilizing the body 1 as barriers for parking zone, an imaging unit 5 to detect exact location of a vehicle present in proximity to body 1, a pair of telescopically operated rods 7 arranged on sides of the structure 4 to extend in horizontal direction in view of maintaining an ample amount of gapping in between adjacent vehicles, a proximity sensor for monitoring presence of any vehicles in proximity to the body 1 and an air compressor installed on the body 1 to inflate an inflatable member 8 configured on the rods 7 for absorbing jerk/ shock experienced on the rods 7 due to collision of the vehicle."
