MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012899 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'adjustable object lifting device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable object lifting device, comprising a platform 1 positioned on roof portion by suction cups 2, an ultrasonic sensor detects distance between platform 1 and edge portion of roof, two telescopic bars 3 extends to position multiple plates 4 attached with bars 3 parallel to edge, multiple motorized hinge joints 5 interconnected between plates 4 for bending plates 4, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 6 determines presence of object, a telescopically operated frame 7 extends to position a motorized pulley 8 upto certain height, a proximity sensor detects distance between pulley 8 and object and accordingly pulley 8 rotates for unwinding a rope 9 to position an inverted U-shaped clamping unit 10 near object that is engaged with object by user, and multiple telescopic pins 11 extends to secure object and followed by which pulley 8 rotates in reverse direction to lift object upto user specified height."
