MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024184 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 26, 2024, for 'adjustable mosquito repellent device.'

Inventor(s) include Dhananjay; Bipasha; Pardeep Kumar Jindal; Sarabpreet Kaur; and Mirgender Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable mosquito repellent device, comprising a frame 1 having a pair of elongated panels 2 installed on side rails of a bed by means of plurality of clamping units 3, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 determines dimensions of bed sides, a drawer arrangement extends/retracts for establishing panels 2 along bed sides, plurality of inverted U-shaped structures 5 arranged by means of a pair of motorized hinges 6 for establishing a canopy over bed such that a net fabric 7 is stretched along canopy for establishing a covering over bed, a LDR (light dependent resistor) detects intensity of light, multiple LEDs get illuminated for providing visibility to user at dark conditions, a thermal sensor monitoring intensity of mosquitoes, and multiple ultrasonic emitter emit ultrasonic vibrations to deter mosquitoes away from frame 1."
