MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411004068 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 19, 2024, for 'adjustable luggage uplifting device for loading vehicles.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable luggage uplifting device for loading vehicles, comprises of a body 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, four motorized wheels 2 are assembled underneath the body 1 for moving the body 1 in proximity to a loading vehicle, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 installed on the body 1 to determine height of the vehicle, a pair of extendable sliding units 4 are arranged on the body 1 extends for orienting the sliding unit up to top portion of the loading vehicle, a frame 5 arranged on the sliding units 4 by means of a motorized conveyor belt 6 to load luggage on the frame 5, a pair of clamping units integrated on the frame 5 in sync with the imaging unit 3 for acquiring a grip over the luggage, and a motorized pivot joint 7 for tilting the frame 5 towards the vehicle."
