MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005864 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'adjustable luggage loading and unloading device.'
Inventor(s) include Bhasker Pratap Choudhary; Suman Lata; and Navdeep Prashar.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable luggage loading and unloading device, comprising a hemispherical body 1 having a first 2 and second portion 3 installed on roof of vehicle, a microphone 5 accessed by user to input voice commands for loading or unloading of objects, a crane arrangement 6 arranged between portions 2, 3 for moving away from each other, a motorized slider allows movement of portions 2, 3 for in opening of body 1, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 11 determines positioning of objects, two motorized sliding unit 7 provides movement to two motorized spool 8 towards objects, an ultrasonic sensor detects distance between spools 8 and objects and followed by rotation of spools 8 to unwind two cables 9 to position two clamps 10 towards objects which is detected by a touch sensor, and after engagement of clamp 10 on object spools 8 winds and load objects."
