MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079692 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 23, 2023, for 'adjustable liquid transferring device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adjustable liquid transferring device, comprising an expandable body 1 configured with plurality of plates 2 that are connected with each other via plurality of hinges 3 for positioning the body 1 within a mouth portion of a container, an imaging unit 4 paired with a laser measurement sensor 5 mapped on the body 1 to detect diameter of mouth portion of the container, plurality of sliding unit 6 configured between the plates 2 to expand/ contract size of body 1, an angle senor 7 paired with the imaging unit to detect proper positioning of the body 1 within the mouth portion, an audio unit 8 mapped on the body 1 to notify the user regarding improper placement of body 1 and plurality of suction units 9 mapped on lateral edges of the body 1 for affixing edges of the body 1 with the container."
