MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005469 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 27, 2024, for 'adjustable liquid applicator device.'
Inventor(s) include Richa Mehta; Sajjan Singh; and Pardeep Kumar Jindal.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable liquid applicator device, comprising a frame 1 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, plurality of telescopically operated rods 2 to support the frame over the surface, a touch interactive display panel 3 for providing input regarding surface area over which coating of the solution is to be applied, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 for capturing multiple images in the vicinity of the frame, plurality of motorized wheels 5 fabricated with multiple grooves 6 and suction cup 7 for moving the frame towards the determined location, an angle sensor for monitoring the angle of inclination of the surface, a motorized slider crank arrangement 8 for providing linear reciprocatory movement to a motorized roller 9, a multi-sectioned chamber 10 for storing different liquids, a sponge 11 to apply the user-specified solution, and a plate 12 over which the motorized roller 9 rests."
