MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024689 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'adjustable leg supporting device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Gupta Poonam Kumari Ramashray; and Dr. Sapna S.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable leg supporting device, comprising of a pair of wearable body having vertical plates 1 facilitates the user to worn over legs, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of the body, a drawer arrangement 3 for extending plate, plurality of electromagnets 4 for establishing the frame around the leg portion, an inflatable member 5 for providing cushioning effect to the user leg portion, an inflatable member 5 to get inflated for providing cushioning effect, a cushioned pad 6 for providing a comfortable gripping experience to the user's leg, a sensing module for detecting vital health parameters of the user."
