MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531020408 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 6, for 'adjustable laptop holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Alakananda Tripathy.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable laptop holding device, comprising a platform 101 positioned on a ground surface and installed with a circular body 102 via a pair of telescopically operated rods arranged in a V-shaped structure, a set of elongated extendable members 103 initially positioned in proximity to each other are arranged with the body 102 developed to accommodate a laptop to be used by a user, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit for detecting exact location of the user, a pair of motorized omnidirectional wheels 104 for maneuvering and positioning the platform 101 in front of the user, a motorized slider 105 translate along a circular guiding rail in view of positioning the members 103 away from each other, plurality of iris pores open for allowing dissipation of heat from the laptop, thus preventing over-heating of the laptop."
