MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006599 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 31, 2024, for 'adjustable ingredient scooping device.'
Inventor(s) include Sumeet Kumar; Puneet Kumar Sethi; Harjas; and Manvi.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable ingredient scooping device, comprising an elongated curved plate 1 installed at mouth portion of an auxiliary container, an imaging unit 2 embedded on the plate 1 determine dimensions of mouth portion, plurality of flaps 3 assembled on the plate 1 by means of multiple motorized sliders 4 translating the flaps 3 to reach ends of the container, multiple suction units 5 integrated at ends of the plate 1 acquiring grip at the mouth portion, a vertical supporting member 6 s arranged on the plate 1 integrated with a motorized clamp 7 gripping a spoon, a speaker 8 integrated on the plate 1 for notifying the user, an extendable covering unit 9 assembled on the supporting member 6 covering the spoon and a motorized iris lid 10 integrated on the covering unit 9 to open for dispensing extra ingredients."
