MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341087344 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Dec. 20, 2023, for 'adjustable holding device for child.'

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable holding device for child comprises of an extendable body 1 utilize to accommodate child to secure within the body 1, a pair of holes 2 each mapped with a motorized iris lid 3 are to insert legs of child within holes 2, a camera 4 for capturing multiple images of child accommodated in the body 1, an air compressor 6 paired with an inflatable member 5 for inflating member 5, a U-shaped head supporting unit 7 configured with a telescopic rod 8 for supporting the body 1 to accommodate the child's head, a thermal imaging unit 9 for detecting strain produced in child's body, a moisture sensor 10 for detecting moisture level of the child due to presence of child's pee, an air blower for blowing air on the child, a temperature sensor 11 for detecting temperature of surroundings, and a Peltier unit for maintaining temperature of surroundings."
