MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006211 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'adjustable grain filling device.'
Inventor(s) include Nisha Kumari; Kiranjot Kaur; Shivam Mahajan; Taniya; Rupinder Kaur Tiwana; and Puja Singh.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable grain filling device comprises a platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 that provides support to the platform 1, a wheel 3 provides movement to the platform 1 on the surface, a plate 4 arranged on the platform 1 that is accessed by a user to place a grain sack, a weight sensor detects placement of sack, a pair of bars 5 places a pair of members 6 in order to grip sack, an ultrasonic sensor detects height of a container, a pair of rack and pinion 7 coupled between a pair of columns 8 for uplifting plate 4, an imaging unit 9 captures and processes images of sack, a pair of clamping units 10 grips mouth portion, a hinge arranged between arrangements and plate 4 for tilting plate 4 and a display panel 12 enables the user to input details regarding a quantity of grains."
