MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005876 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'adjustable electric wiring assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Taranjeet Kaur; Sarbpreet Kaur; and Pardeep Kumar Jindal.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable electric wiring assistive device, comprises of an elongated body having a spring 2 positioned in an insulation tubing, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 installed on disc 3 arranged on the body to detect position of wiring and dimension of the tubing, a motorized clamp 5 to grip the wire to be passed through tubing, multiple wheels arranged with telescopically operated links to move frame 1 along with tubing, an ultrasonic sensor to detect presence of obstacle within tubing, an inflatable tube 6 to inflate and provide pushing force to frame 1 for surpassing the obstacle, a tactile sensor to detect hardness of the obstacle and a protruded lid 7 to open and expose a conical blade 8 for combatting the obstacle and allow wire to pass along the tubing."
