MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025624 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adjustable dumpling preparation device.'
Inventor(s) include Avinav Pathak; Shoyab Hussain; Dhruv Joshi; and Abhishek Dabas.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable dumpling preparation device, comprises a body 1 positioned on fixed surface, a vertical support 2 integrated with a plate for user to access to position a dough, a display panel 3 accessed by user to provide dimensions and stuffing of dumpling, an imaging unit 4 captures images of vicinity to determine positioning of dough on the plate, telescopically operated rod 5 extends/retracts to position roller 6 for flattening, motorized hinge gives tilting movement to the plate to dispense flattened dough, pair of rolling elements 8 accommodates flattened dough, semi-circular flaps 9 expand/retract to adapt the dimensions of dumpling, chamber 10 stores stuffing, electronically controlled nozzle 11 dispense the stuffing, a tray 12 collects prepared dumplings."
