MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441007337 A) filed by Jain, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'adjustable drivable turf installation device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable drivable turf installation device, comprising a body 1 developed to be installed on a surface, an imaging unit 2 for capturing multiple images in vicinity of body 1, a panel 3 for displaying captured images to allow a user to select an area, multiple wheels 4 for moving body 1 towards area, a chamber 5 stored with molding units of varying sizes, a pair of robotic arms 6 for positioning molding unit over area, a container 10 stored with concrete mixture connected with a nozzle 9 that dispenses mixture within positioned molding unit to cast structure over surface, a heating unit 7 for emitting heat radiations onto dispensed mixture and an ultrasonic sensor for monitoring distance in between structures to manually lay a patterned turf over area in a manner that structures get fit into multiple cavities in order to install drivable turf over surface."
