MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411007019 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 2, 2024, for 'adjustable cloth holding system.'
Inventor(s) include Aditya; and Simranjeet Kaur.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable cloth holding system comprises of a cuboidal body 1 provides support to body 1 on a ground surface inside an enclosure, a motorized wheel 3 for providing movement to body 1 on surface, a multi-sectioned chamber 4 assembled inside body 1 for storing a holding unit having different weights, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 determines weaving of any cloth in proximity to body 1 and synchronously microcontroller actuates wheels 3 for positioning body 1 in proximity to cloth, an anemometer 6 detecting intensity of wind for maintaining stability of cloth for actuating a pneumatic piston 7 to extend for positioning evaluated holding unit, and an ultrasonic sensor detecting distance between positioned holding unit and cloths for actuating clipping units 8 for gripping the cloth."
