MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010044 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'adjustable cloth holding and drying system.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Meenakshi Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to an adjustable cloth holding and drying system, comprising a primary plate 1 installed at a first wall of enclosure and equipped with multiple suction cups 2 for affixing with wall's surface, a touch interactive display panel 3 installed on platform accessed by user to enter number and type of clothes desire to dry, a secondary plate 6 installed on a second wall of enclosure and equipped with an electromagnetic latch for engaging hook 7 of rope 5 by user, a primary touch sensor installed on latch for detecting hook 7 engaging, multiple motorized clips 8 attached on rope 5 accessed by user to hang clothes on rope 5, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 9 installed on primary plate 1 for determining clothes size, and a rain sensor installed on each clips 8 for detecting rain presence in proximity to rope 5."
