MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019669 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 16, 2024, for 'adjustable center bore wheel hub covering device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Jaivir Singh; and Dr. Ravinder Singh.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable center bore wheel hub covering device, comprising a circular shaped expandable frame 1 developed to be position on a center bore of a wheel, a laser sensor arranged on the frame 1 for detecting size of the bore and accordingly an inbuilt microcontroller actuates an expandable pulley arrangement 2 for increasing or decreasing size of the frame 1 that aids in covering of the bore, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 3 for detecting pattern of cavities of crafted on the wheel, a motorized sliding unit 4 for positioning multiple inverted L-shaped telescopic rods 5 adjacent to the detected cavities followed by retraction of the rods 5 for gripping the wheel, a pressure sensor for detecting pressure applied by the rods 5 on the cavities based on which the microcontroller transmits an alert notification to the user regarding loosening of the fame to the user's computing unit."
