MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026025 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'adjustable cement-pipe manufacturing assistive device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable cement-pipe manufacturing assistive device, comprising a U-shaped platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, suctions cups 2 to adhere to the surface for securing the platform 1 on the surface, touch interactive display panel 3 to provide input specifications regarding a user-desired cement pipe, first and second cylindrical frames (4,5) for creating a hollow structure in between the frames (4,5), telescopically operated links 7 are arranged in between plates 6 for increasing/decreasing dimensions of hollow structure, motorized flap 8 for allowing the user to pour a cement mixture in the hollow structure, motorized sliding unit 9 for positioning the frame in proximity to the bottom portion of the platform 1, electromagnets 10 for dispensing of the solidified structure of the cement pipe from the frames (4,5) and a speaker 11 for notifying the user to collect the user-specified cement pipe."
