MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006911 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'adjustable camera holding device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Parveen Singla; Dr. Ruchi Singla; Mandeep Kaur; and Dr. Shweta Lamba.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable camera holding device comprises of a telescopically operated plate 1 developed to be held by a user to an optimum height and accessed by user to place a camera, a handle 2 for providing grip to user while holding frame, a motorized slider 3 for providing movement to multiple U-shaped members 4 in order to adjust positioning of members 4 thereby providing proper grip to user while holding plate 1, an imaging unit 5 determines positioning and size of camera, a pair of telescopic bars 6 for extending to push and secure camera on plate 1, a robotic arm 8 for pressing a switch that further clicks picture, a rain sensor for detecting presence of water droplets in vicinity to plate 1 and multiple motorized rack and pinion arrangement 10 for deploying a canopy 11 above camera in order to prevent any damage to camera."
