MUMBAI, India, Nov. 21 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025586 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 28, 2024, for 'adjustable cage cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Nidhi Tyagi; Vinod Rathi; Mohd. Ahamad; and Neha Yajurvedi.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable cage cleaning device comprises of a body 1 installed underneath a cage, an artificial intelligence-based to determine dimensions of base of the cage, multiple motorized clamping unit 3 for acquiring a grip on base of the cage for successfully affixing the body 1, a meshed plate 9 for allowing beat of an animal living to be deposited inside the body 1, a color sensor for monitoring deposition of the animal's beat on base of the cage, electronically controlled sprinklers for solubilizing deposited beat inside the body 1, an electronically controlled nozzle 5 to dispense pressurized water, a water reservoir to store water, a rotatable brush 8 to rotate for cleaning the deposited beat from the cage, multiple suction units to extract the solubilized beat from the body 1, and a motorized two-axis lead screw 6 to translate the link towards deposited beat on the base."
