MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018872 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'adjustable button fastening device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An adjustable button fastening device comprising an elongated body 1 having a proximal and distal end 3, a handle 4 installed at the proximal end 2 accessed by a user for acquiring a grip over the body 1, an AI based imaging unit 5 installed at the distal end 3 for capturing multiple images of the body 1, a motorized slider 7 installed at the distal end 3 to translate links 6 to get oriented as per ends of the hole, an ultrasonic sensor integrated at the distal end 3 for determining dimensions of the button, a suction unit 9 integrated on clamps 8 to acquire grip over the button, a Lidar sensor installed on the body 1 for observing alignment of the button with the hole and a speaker 10 integrated on the body 1 to alert the user regarding the length and correcting alignment of the hole."
